:(

It is so beautiful outside I don't want to go back to work. Not sure what exactly I want to do instead...just be outside! Part of me wants to go for a walk and part of me wants to lay down on a blanket in the sun and go to sleep...but alas, instead I have to go back to work. :(

That's really all for now.  I got to talk to Michael for about 40 minutes this morning which was really nice...and the longest conversation we have had for a while.  I am going to go lay down and read for a bit.

lets try this again...

Ok, so this is my second post today and lets see if my computer behaves through the whole thing.  I'm not sure what was wrong with it earlier, but I had been messing around on it for several hours and it did force me to get off for a bit and get some other stuff done.  I went and made myself dinner...yummy chicken stir-fry!  I don't cook alot lately because it's just really hard to cook for one person.  I also got some cleaning done so now I have laundry all done, yea!  Well, except for bedding, but I am going to do that tomorrow.

Anyway, these are the rest of the pictures that I was planning on posting earlier today.  Trey showing me how old he is going to be, not that the shirt isn't a dead giveaway!  I think the shirt that Becky made him was a very cute idea.  I can believe how fast all the nieces and nephews are growing!
One of the biggest hits in regards to gifts was the toy weed-eater that Trey received.  All of the kids wanted to play with it and wear the little googles that came with.  Trey had fun pretending to weed-eat Jake's legs off.

I know I said in the post before last that I was going to post a huge list of 50 goals for the next 500 days...and I am still going to but probably tomorrow.  I actually started these goals on 3/13/10 since that was the 500 day mark and it has just taken me forever to get them posted.  I had almost decided to cut it down because I had almost convinced myself that 50 goals was just way too aggressive, but counting this weekend I have 70 weekends in which to accomplish it all.  I just say 70 weekends because I really don't do much Mon-Thurs, although there are a couple things on the list that could be worked on in a weeknight.  That's all I have to say about that for the moment...I will be back tomorrow with my huge (slightly agressive) list of things I want to accomplish before I turn 30!

Later,  Lis

love notes #3...plus some...

I love you bunches and I miss you bunches!  Can't wait for June to get here so I can see you on your R&R!

It's amazing how quickly time passes...how quickly a week passes between me blogging.  The following pics are from the end of last week.  I got my hair cut on Friday morning for the first time in way, way, way too long!  Saturday I got ready to head to Becky and Hugh's for Trey's bday and I was ready early (which hardly ever happens!) so I started playing with my camera.

Boredom definitely breeds excessive amounts of self-photography!

OK...well I was going to post more now...but it seems my computer is being weird so I am going to shut her down for now!

St. Patricks Day...

I hate when holidays and stuff sneak up on you.  When Michael left a little over a month ago I was thinking I might have a St. Patricks Day party, and then on Tuesday I realized St. Patrick's Day was the next day and nothing ever came of my party idea.  :(  I guess there is always next year...and maybe that would be better anyway since Michael will be here then.

Speaking of Michael, I just got off the phone with him after a much needed 30 min conversation.  It seems like I have hardly got to talk to him at all so far this deployment.  The time difference and when each of us works is not exactly conducive to much chatting.

I don't really have much to say right now.  Just realized it is over halfway through March and this is my first blog entry this month...shame on me.  I have been sick and I am so done with all of it and ready to feel good again.

Tonight after work I finally hooked up my new printer that I bought the beginning of February.  It was just never what I wanted to do but today I finally wanted too so now I can say adios to my ancient non-wireless printer...yay!  I also spent some time planning baby shower invites for a friend's shower and I finally came up with a cute idea that I love!  Now I am ready to start making them but it is way past time for me to go to bed!

My next post is going to be some major goal setting for the next 500 day period....the time I have left before I turn 30.  Bleh!  The 500 days actually started last Saturday, and I meant to get on and post, but that went out the window when I got sick and just wanted to curl up in bed and sleep.

Anyway, that's all for now.  I really need to get off of here and go to bed. I was planning on going into work early tomorrow to get some processing done because I don't seem to have enough time to do it during my normal work day; however, seeing as how I have stayed up so late I am not entirely sure that is going to be happening.

The end.
