This picture is the first time we saw each other as I was descending the stairs. We both have really big smiles on our faces in this one!
So obviously this is a picture of the back of my dress. . .which I loved! (well, mostly)
This is one of the pictures I am considering for the front of the album. It will also be cut down square. Even if I don't use it for the front, I still want it in the album.
Our wedding party in the hall at the church.
Michael and I with all of the nieces and nephews. This picture took several times to capture and as you can see, Sasha was still very unhappy.
The kiss after being pronounced husband and wife. . .yeah!! The photographer told us to hold the kiss for a little because if others are taking pictures this is one shot he might have a hard time getting. . .we held it so long people started laughing and cheering!
This is one of the first pictures taken out behind the firehouse after the ceremony was all done and overwith. . .relief! I was so happy when we were taking these pictures around the Firehouse and the Jefferson footbridge. This is also one of the few pictures that shows my hair from this side along with the hair comb that I made :) It was really freakin sunny though. . .
So lets put on our sunglasses and take some pictures!! I really like some of these pictures with the sunglasses on.
This is the other picture I am thinking about for the front cover. . .again it would be cut down square so all you would see is our hands and faces. Michael's side of the heart is kind of pointy looking, but thats okay!
When we were taking this picture I was thinking it would not come out at all because we were walking and David (the photographer) told us to lean in and kiss while walking. It felt strange but the picture looks good. I also like the way my flowers look in this picture!
So this is a photo collage that the photographer put together for us with the wedding cake and some of the reception decor. I really like this picture because it showcases my red/black theme!
The bride, best man, maid of honor, and groom after the toasts were done. Beth's toast was really nice and I think she got a lot of compliments on it. She said she was going to do some crafty thing with it and give it to me. . .but I haven't seen it yet. . . oh Bethhhhh. . .
The entrance into the courtyard at the firehouse had these huge, really pretty doors. It made everything look so pretty so of course lets take some pictures in front of them.
I love this picture. . .I can't even explain why. . .it just makes me think about how much I love this boy!!
So that's my selected pictures. . .all of the pics will be in the album these are just the ones that will be larger size. It occurred to me I don't really have any of the formal shots at the alter of the families and stuff other than the one with all the nieces and nephews. I guess that's okay though if it only Michael and I in most of the pictures. . . .hmmmmm. . .maybe I am not done picking out images. . .but I don't know which ones of these I would replace!!
Anyway, so that's our wedding! Sorry I am so extremely late in getting it posted. Most of this was just pictures I didn't even talk about the wedding itself much. Maybe I should record some more of my thoughts and memories about the wedding before I forget. Who knows when I will actually get around to scrapbooking it so I should get that done. . . .
Anyway that's all for now. . . Michael is playing computer games tonight with a friend of ours and his son, Mark and Wyatt. I am going to continue doing laundry to try and get that all caught up. I am so glad I had today off of work because our house was filthy and I actually got quite a bit done today!
Next time will be pictures from our first honeymoon, the short one at Chateau on the Lake in Branson, MO. . .
